Parselz operates a parcel delivery marketplace where people who send parcels and people who travel can connect, agree on delivery offers, and coordinate handoff. This policy applies to our public website and our mobile applications when they link to this page or otherwise refer to it.

Depending on how you use Parselz, we may collect or process information you provide or that is generated by use of the service, including:

• Account details such as your name and email address
• An optional phone number, if you choose to provide one
• Profile information such as a public bio and profile photo, if you add them
• Whether your email address has been verified (verification status)
• Parcel and trip listings and related details (for example routes, schedules, descriptions, and pricing or offer information)
• Pickup, delivery, and route-related address or location information you enter for parcels and trips
• Reviews and ratings you give or receive in connection with completed deliveries
• Messages or content you submit through the product (for example offer notes or support-related messages)
• Basic technical information associated with using apps and websites (such as device type, app version, and similar diagnostics where collected)

We do not aim to collect sensitive categories of data beyond what you voluntarily provide for the marketplace to function. Do not submit information you are not comfortable sharing with counterparties when needed for a delivery.

We use the information above to:

• Create and maintain your account
• Show your parcels, trips, and offers to other users as part of the marketplace
• Facilitate communication and coordination related to deliveries
• Send service-related emails (such as verification or important account notices) where applicable
• Operate, secure, and improve Parselz (including troubleshooting and fraud prevention at a basic level)
• Display trust signals such as reviews where that feature exists

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers. We may use service providers (such as hosting or email delivery) who process data on our instructions to run the service.

We may ask you to verify your email address to reduce abuse and improve account security. Verification status may be stored and shown where relevant (for example so other users know an account has a verified email). We use verification links or codes only for that purpose unless otherwise stated in product copy at the time.

Your profile may include optional fields such as a phone number, public bio, and profile photo. What you add may be visible to other users according to how the product works (for example when you send or receive offers). You can update or remove some profile information in the app or website where those controls exist.

To match senders and travelers, Parselz stores the parcel and trip details you enter—including structured or free-text addresses, cities, routes, dates, weights, and descriptions. Other users involved in an offer or delivery may see the information needed to complete the handoff. Keep in mind that delivery coordination often requires sharing practical contact or location details with another user; use judgment about what you post.

Our apps may request access to your photo library or camera only when you choose to upload an image (for example a profile photo or user-provided images related to a listing). The operating system prompts you for permission; we do not access your camera or photos without that permission.

Images you upload are used for the features you use them with (such as displaying a profile picture or parcel photos). We do not use camera or gallery access to collect unrelated background data.

Parselz is a marketplace: some information is intentionally visible to other users when you list a parcel or trip, send an offer, or complete a delivery—otherwise the product cannot work. We may also share information with vendors that help us host the service, send email, or analyze reliability, subject to confidentiality and security expectations.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of Parselz and our users.

We keep account and marketplace information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, legal, and security purposes. Exact retention periods can depend on how the service evolves; if you need data removed, contact us (see below) and we will handle requests where feasible and consistent with our obligations.

We take reasonable steps to protect information against unauthorized access and misuse. No online service can promise perfect security. You should use a strong, unique password and protect access to your devices and email account.

You may be able to update profile fields, change notification preferences, or delete certain content in the product where those controls exist. Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you additional rights (for example to access or delete personal data). If you want to exercise a request, email us—we will respond in line with applicable law and what our systems support today.

Nothing in this section is a guarantee that a specific legal right applies to you; it depends on your location and the facts of your request.
